The official music video for “American Sky,” the uplifting new single from award-winning 8 Track Entertainment country artist Aaron Tippin, premieres today.

Directed by Ryan Nolan and filmed in Tippin’s airplane hangar outside Nashville, the video brings the song’s message to life with a powerful blend of aviation, family, and patriotism. Written by his son, Tom Tippin, “American Sky” is a reflection on freedom, faith, and the limitless possibilities found both in flight and in life.

Visually, the video showcases vintage aircraft, candid family moments, and sweeping aerial footage that captures the exhilaration of flying. Tippin’s grandsons make special appearances alongside him, as well as the family’s dogs, reinforcing the song’s central theme that the American story is ultimately rooted in family.

“’American Sky’ is really a song about what I believe in most — family, faith, freedom, and this great country of ours. Tom wrote something that hit me right in the heart the first time I heard it, and when we started filming in my hangar surrounded by these beautiful old planes and my grandsons running around, I knew we had something special. I hope people watch this video and feel that same pride I feel every time I go up in the air and look out over America.”

“American Sky” continues to gain momentum at radio and streaming. In just six weeks, the single has climbed into the Top 50 on the Music Row Breakout Chart, reaching No. 47 while earning multiple weeks as one of the most added records. On the CDX Traction True Indie Chart, the track jumped from No. 45 to No. 4. The song is also featured on playlists including All New Country, Country Top 40 Hits, Classic Country, and Country Rock.

Tippin’s upcoming tour schedule includes a special July 4 performance as part of a Charlie Daniels hologram tribute concert at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. The state-of-the-art production will feature a live band, and potentially including original members, alongside Tippin and Eric Lee Beddingfield.

Tippin will continue his “American Sky” tour throughout 2026, with additional dates to be announced.

Aaron Tippin will also join season six of On the Record July 3rd!
