DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE: Ian Munsick Breaks Down His Documentary White Buffalo: Voices of the West

We caught up with country music star Ian Munsick and Mo Brings Plenty during the 2023 NFR about his new documentary.

Country music star Ian Munsick is giving his sophomore album White Buffalo a documentary, White Buffalo: Voices of the West.

He premiered the documentary during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas last December. We had the chance to get an exclusive look at what inspired him to make the documentary, what his roots mean to him, and what viewers can expect.

White Buffalo: Voices of the West, will begin streaming on various platforms this Friday and will become available on The Roku Channel, Tubi, and Freevee after 60 to 90 days.

On the red carpet, we also had the chance to talk with Ian’s friends and those who had a hand in the film.

“Coming from the Cowboy State of Wyoming, there’s not many of us out there, so having Ian and all of these guys doing big things for the state of Wyoming and the Western way of life is really special.Chancey Williams, Country Music Artist

“Nothing like this has even been done before. A lot of these documentaries like to just cover the drama and trauma, and there’s a lot of that in the community, and being able to put it on a platform and cover it in a way that Ian and the community want it to be covered, Ian is being able to let all of this be spoken about.” Cam Mackey, Director

“Having an opportunity to be on this platform with such amazing and inspirational people, it was honestly a blessing. I got the phone call from Ian and he said, ‘But we do need you here in two days,’ and I said, ‘I’ll be there tomorrow if you need me.’” Sammy Jo Bird
