Dirt Diaries: Sarah Daniels Shares Her Agricultural Journey from 4-H and FFA to a Career at John Deere

John Deere’s Sarah Daniels previews her appearance on the latest episode of Dirt Diaries, where she shares more about her career, experiences, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude through challenges.

JOHNSTON, Iowa (RFD NEWS) — A passion for agriculture is often rooted in early experiences, including involvement in organizations like 4-H and FFA. For Sarah Daniels, those experiences helped shape a career focused on connecting with farmers and supporting the agriculture industry.

Daniels, global product marketing manager for John Deere’s largest tractors, joined us on Tuesday’s Market Day Report to discuss her journey from growing up on a first-generation family farm to her role with the company.

In her interview with RFD News, Daniels reflected on how her involvement in 4-H and FFA helped spark her passion for agriculture and develop leadership skills that carried into her education at Iowa State University and her career with John Deere.

Daniels discussed her role supporting the company’s heavy draft tractor lineup, including the 9 Series family, and how her agricultural background helps her better understand the producers she works to serve. She said learning from customers continues to help guide efforts to improve equipment for future generations.

She also shared how her rural roots have helped her navigate a male-dominated industry, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, confidence, and the lessons she gained from growing up in agriculture.
