Doing More With Less: John Deere unveils steps to improve fertilizer application

John Deere is working to help farmers do more with less.

The CEO gave a keynote address at the CES Conference earlier today in Las Vegas. The company revealed many new pieces of equipment and technology.

The Vice President of Precision Ag Production shares about how the company is improving fertilizer application.

“Today we are closer than ever to making it a reality that every year farmers can individually treat each of the 3 trillion corn plants grown in the U.S. and today taking that concept to reality. John Deere is revealing a new sensor and robotic technology to help farmers fertilizer the plants as they put them in the ground,” said Deanna Kovar.
