From March 30 to April 30, all medical personnel, first responders and active members of the National Guard will receive a 10 percent discount at Dollar General.

“On behalf of the entire Dollar General family, we would like to thank all of the physicians, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, police officers, firefighters, Guardsmen and other health care and front-line professionals working to support and care for our neighbors and communities,” said Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s CEO.

To get the discount at one of Dollar General’s 16,000+ locations nationwide, an employee badge or ID must be shown.

The company also announced it would be investing approximately $35 million in bonuses for employees.
