Emergency Rural Health Care: The new USDA funding to improve care in 37 states

Rural health care organizations are being awarded a new round of emergency rural health care grants.

The USDA has allocated $74 million in grants to help 143 rural health care facilities expand critical services for 3 million people in 37 states, Guam and Puerto Rico. The Rural Housing Service Administrator shares what the funding will go towards.

“Our program provides grant funding to help broaden access to Covid-19 testing, vaccines, even more, importantly to address rural health care services.”
