BOONE, Iowa (RFD News) — John Deere is putting its latest planting technology on display at the Farm Progress Show.
RFD Network’s Kirbe Schnoor caught up with John Deere Go-to-Market Manager Ben Zelle to discuss how the new technology is helping farmers with seed placement and nutrient management.
Zelle said automation can help farmers create the right seed furrow and maintain proper planting depth as soil conditions change.
He also highlighted the John Deere Operations Center, which allows farmers to plan fieldwork, manage operations and analyze data to help make decisions throughout the season.
