JACKSON, Miss. (RFD News) — Mississippi Farm Bureau members are combining food, fellowship and friendly competition to help support hunger relief efforts in their communities.
The Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation and its Foundation for Agriculture continue fighting food insecurity through the organization’s annual Farmers Feeding the Hungry Cookoff.
Working alongside the Mississippi Food Network, the event helps raise funds and organize food drives aimed at providing meals for local families, seniors and children across the state.
Mississippi Food Network says partnerships like these are becoming increasingly important as demand for food assistance continues growing statewide.
