In the state of Illinois, the prices for its top crops, soybean and corn, have fallen drastically. At the beginning of 2020, ag experts predicted a favorable year for corn, that no longer seems to be the case. There is a slight positive side with the costs of operations also decreasing, for things like fertilizer and fuel.
