Farmworker groups have sued Colorado’s governor over new overtime laws, but not because it will come at a great cost to the industry.
The workers say that the rules are racist because they are significantly weaker compared to overtime requirements for other jobs and farmworkers are typically Hispanic or Latino.
The groups are asking a court to stop the rules from going into effect.
