FBI to hold second annual Agriculture Threats Symposium in Omaha next week

The food and ag sector saw an increase in ransomware attacks in the second quarter of 2024. In an effort to reverse the trend, the FBI is hosting their annual Agriculture Threats Symposium next week in Omaha.

Executive Director of the Food and Ag-ISAC Scott Algeier spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on why we are seeing an uptick, what is planned for next week’s event, and the risk ransomware places on the ag industry.
