FDA Sued Over Biotech Salmon Records

The FDA is being sued over records relating to biotech salmon.

The Center for Food Safety filed a “freedom of information” request on documents related to the approval process, but FDA says it will take two years to produce the records. So, the advocacy group has filed a lawsuit. Two years ago, a federal judge ruled that the FDA had not properly determined if genetically engineered salmon could escape into the wild.
