As the fight against food insecurity continues to be a focus for agriculture, one Virginia 4-H’er has been using her coding and computer skills to help combat hunger.
Alexa Mitchell speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on what sparked her interest in this matter, how 4-H has helped, and what the feedback has been.
“It’s pretty simple for even me as a young person to be able to help people who are in need of food, and it just takes a little bit of my effort and my time to be able to help a large amount of people. So that’s kind of how I got involved in combating food insecurity in my community,” Alexa states.
