Force of nature, Dillon Carmichael stops by to talk his Kentucky roots, music ties, and CMA Fest

Dillon Carmichael is a Kentucky native with deep roots in country music and has co-written with some of the top songwriters in the industry. He is currently out on tour and is set to perform at CMA Fest next month in Music City.

You might know him from his hit, “Son Of A,” which is his third single to radio in under five years after being signed to Riser House Entertainment.

He stopped by Roy Rogers Studio to talk with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about being born into country music, how he is influenced as an artist, and the upcoming CMA Festival.

He also stuck around to perform an unreleased song, “Good Ol Day.”

After his performance, he gave us an Music Square Session encore.
