In 1970, the U.S. Forest Service assumed responsibility for sourcing the tree and has ensured those deliveries occur each year since. This Christmas, the U.S. Capitol’s centerpiece tree comes all the way from Nevada — the U.S. Forest Service takes us on that journey.
