FSA Offices Across the Country to Reopen January 24

Department of Agriculture

January 23, 2019

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) The Secretary of Agriculture announces that FSA offices across the country will reopen despite the partial government shutdown, recalling nearly 10,000 unpaid USDA workers. RFD-TV’s Sarah Mock has the details. Starting this Thursday, January 24th, all FSA offices across the country will be open for business and will be providing a wider range of services, including processing market facilitation payment applications. Though there will be some limitations, including a prohibition on new CRP contracts and farm ownership loans, the Secretary encourages patience as FSA employees are limited by law on what they can do.
