FWS has proposed uplisting the northern long-eared bat to “endangered”

Ag groups are raising concern over the proposed uplisting of the northern long-eared bat from threatened to endangered. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association says that the move would create an undue regulatory burden for producers and foresters in 37 states.

Associate Director of Federal Lands for NCBA and the Public Lands Council, Sigrid Johannes spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the impact the move would make, what states would be impacted, and white nose syndrome.
