Garth Fundis is restoring Don Williams’ legacy with never-before-heard recordings

The legacy of country music icon Don Williams will be on full display tonight in a special Grand Ole Opry celebration, with spotlight performances by some of the industry’s biggest names. It coincides with the release of never-before-heard recordings discovered in the cellar of the Williams family’s rural Tennessee home.

They were restored by his longtime co-producer Garth Fundis. He joined RFD-TV’s Jennifer Vickery-Smith to discuss their personal relationship, the discovery and process of the recordings, and what the audience can expect from tonight’s celebration.
