A Georgia man has not been charged after exchanging gunfire with, and killing, three masked teens who attempted to rob him and two others at a home in Conyers.

“It could be a ‘stand your ground’ type case, based on the preliminary (information) that we have learned so far,” the Rockdale County Sheriff said at a press conference Monday.

One of the teen suspects had fired at the homeowner first, a deputy told the New York Post yesterday.

According to a Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, the investigation is still very active and the RCSO is asking for anyone with information in connection with this incident.

The teens killed were ages 15, 15 and 16. All three victims of the attempted robbery were uninjured.
