Germany and Poland take new action against ASF spread

Germany and Poland consider new action steps to prevent African Swine Fever from crossing its borders.

Reuters reports, Polish and German Ag Ministers met up in Berlin to outline a joint bio security plan.

Last month, Poland found 55 ASF outbreaks in wild boars. the cases were detected within 100 miles of the German border. So far, Germany is building fences along the border and they’ve relaxed their wild boar hunting restrictions.
