GOP members send EPA a letter condemning Biden’s electric vehicle push

More than 150 Republicans have written to the Biden administration condemning its recent environmental regulations aimed at forcing more electric vehicle purchases.

In a letter to EPA Administrator, Michael Regan, GOP members said that recent regulations target gas-powered vehicles, which could lead to higher costs for consumers and increased isolation of rural Americans.

The biofuels industry has criticized the strategy as well, saying that ethanol should be a path to reducing emissions.
