Grizzly bear management to get more funding In Montana

Secretary David Bernhardt is partnering with the USDA Wildlife Services to improve bear management in Montana. In order to do this, Wildlife Services would receive an increase in funding to hire on more bear conflict specialists.

Trina Jo Bradley is a member of the Montana Grizzle Bear Advisory Council and said that she is overjoyed with this news. She says that additional funding will help with the workload across the state and help better manage problematic bears.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is looking to remove the northern grizzly from the Endangered Species Act.
