Planting progress came to a pause for many Midwest farmers this week following heavy storms and tornadoes in certain regions.

Iowa State Climatologist, Dr. Justin Glisen spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the impact the tornadic activity had in the region, current conditions, and if the rainfall was beneficial.
