Is it the end of the Easterday Dairy?

Efforts to reopen a mega-dairy plant in Northern Oregon may be over.

Easterday Dairy has been repeatedly cited for not bringing nitrate levels in water under control and is suing the former owners, saying it is their fault the cleanup has not happened yet. They are asking for millions of dollars in damages or to be released from the purchase agreement.

The other Easterday businesses are in the middle of a massive bankruptcy lawsuit after a ghost cattle scheme.
