John Deere Unveils Next Generation of 6R Tractors

The updated lineup helps producers boost efficiency while enhancing operator comfort.

GRIMES, Iowa (RFD News) — Farmers and ranchers are always looking for increased efficiency in the field, and John Deere is aiming to meet those needs with the latest generation of its 6R Series tractors.

Marketing Manager Anne Anderson with John Deere joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Report to discuss the updated lineup.

In her conversation with RFD News, Anderson discussed what’s new in the 6R Series, who the tractors are designed for and how the lineup helps improve efficiency and performance in day-to-day operations.

A major focus of the updates was operator comfort and ease of use.

“All of these things were designed with the operator in mind, giving them the performance, the command and the comfort that they need in their row crop, their livestock management or even their transport applications. It really makes long days in the cab feel like a breeze.”

Anderson also discussed how producers can select a 6R tractor that best fits their operation and workload.
