Justin Wilson Looking Back: Louisiana Pecan Pie

Makes one 9 inch pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup brown or white sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups pecan meats
  • 1 9 inch pie crust

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat the eggs. Add sugar, syrup, butter, flour, salt, vanilla, and pecans.

Pour into a pie crust that has been baked for a few minutes (long enough to dry it out).

Bake in the oven for about 1 hour or until the pie is firm in the middle.
