There are still many unknowns surrounding Kevin Costner’s departure from the hit show, Yellowstone, and there are many rumors making their way around his involvement moving forward.
His time on set will not stop there, though. His production company, Territory Pictures announced he will be filming two and three of his Western “Horizon: An American Saga” in Utah. It will be a four-film series showing the settlement of the American West pre- and post-Civil War, according to KSL.com
“The state of Utah, with its intrinsic beauty, is the perfect backdrop for the story of ‘Horizon’ and can be said to be its own character in our story,” said Costner.
Yellowstone was previously shot in Utah but moved production to Montana after the state offered better tax incentives.
If that is not impressive enough, the two-time Oscar will launch a eight-part series named Kevin Costner’s The West. It will show how the Wild West affected history and how it continues to impact the country today, according to Outsider.
