Democratic Presidential Candidates question the waiver issue.
Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar says in her first hundred days in office, she will take action to put currently pending small refinery exemption waivers on hold, increase transparency in the application process for waivers, and support infrastructure for the sale of ethanol-blended fuel. She says voters in Iowa will take notice, and not just those on farms.
Klobuchar says the President’s energy agenda has been one-sided, which not only threatens congressional goals around climate change, it puts the ag industry, and the rural communities it supports, in jeopardy.
