Knocking on Barn Doors: Potential ag impacts from El Niño

Weather is the ever constant and constantly changing aspect to farming and El Niño is knocking on barn doors.

The weather event could mean the southern region of the U.S. could receive more precipitation through storms in the coming weeks, which could be welcome news especially for producers in drought stricken Texas and Florida.

El Niño could also make the central region of the country warmer, which could help with snow melt and getting planting underway.
