Large-scale farmers and ranchers overwhelmingly plan to vote for President Trump, according to a Farm Futures poll released Wednesday.
The poll, conducted in late July, showed Trump with about 75 percent of the support with respondents praising his ag and foreign policy decisions.
Overall, 67 percent gave the President an “A” or “B” for his handling of agriculture as a whole and 63 percent gave him an A or B in foreign policy.
“Farmers may not have known what they were getting with Trump four years ago but I think our survey confirms they’ve found comfort in what they received,” said Jacqui Fatka, policy editor for Farm Futures.
