There is still time to brag that last minute gift before Christmas. If you have a gardener in your life, the Kansas State University Extension has some ideas.
Gardening tools can easily wear out, so some new ergonomic options could be good for the aging gardener. If you are more of the gift card type, the Extension says that you should consider supporting your local garden center.
According to KSU’s Dennis Patton, “What I think make great stocking stuffers are gift certificates to the local garden centers, nurseries; so, come planting season you’ve got that mad money to run out and pick up a six-pack of pansies or a new tree or shrub for your landscaping. It’s kind of a delayed Christmas gift, but it’s always so helpful.”
He also adds a five gallon bucket and tool caddy are always useful.
