Lauren Bruner, a Pearl Harbor survivor, dies at 98

Lauren Bruner, one of the last living survivors of the USS Arizona, has died at the age of 98.

The Pearl Harbor National Memorial released the news to the public Wednesday.

“We are deeply saddened to share the news that Pearl Harbor Survivor Lauren Bruner has passed away. Lauren was one of the last remaining survivors of the USS Arizona. There are now only three left: Don Stratton, Lou Conter and Ken Potts,” the post read. “Lauren has come back to Hawaii many times over the years and was well known to many of us here at the visitor center. He will be greatly missed.”
