Learn to Grow: How to Plant a Fig Tree

Have you ever wanted to have fresh figs at home but don’t have the faintest idea how to “fig"-ure it out? In this episode of “Learn to Grow,” Misilla takes you along as she adds a new fig tree to her garden.

It also has a dwarf habit and can reach a height of 48 feet, with a three-to-four-foot spread, which makes it a great tree to grow in containers if you have limited space. However, it can also be planted in the ground in larger spaces.
