Hollywood actor Ken Osmond has died at the age of 76 at his Los Angeles home with family around him.
The news was confirmed by his son Eric who told TMZ he was an “incredibly kind and wonderful father... he was loved and will be very missed.”
Osmond was best known for playing troublemaker Eddie Haskell in the TV series Leave It To Beaver from 1957 through 1963.
Eddie came on the show as a guest star but stayed on due to his popularity with the audience. He would appear in all six seasons.
He was also in the shows The New Leave It To Beaver from 1983 until 1989 and the Leave It To Beaver movie in 1997 where he played Eddie Senior.
In 1970 Osmond took a break from acting to become a police officer with the Los Angeles police department.
