There is something about the phrase “betting the family farm” that conjures up images of rural America and the lifestyle so many have chosen. It is literally the topic of a major motion picture, soon to be released on streaming platforms.
“Green and Gold” stars legendary actor Craig T. Nelson as a Wisconsin dairy farmer named “Buck,” who bets on the Green Bay Packers to save his farm.
He joined RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander to talk about his rural roots, Buck’s character development and dedication to sustain a legacy, the hardships dairy farmers have to endure, and what viewers can expect from the film.
