During his rookie year on the 2025 Bass Pro Tour, Jake Lawrence went toe-to-toe with Jacob Wheeler in a two-horse race on Nickajack Lake that ended with Lawrence scoring his first win on the tour thanks to a clutch catch in the final seconds at Stage 4. Lawrence also placed fifth at REDCREST 2025 on Lake Guntersville.
