Matt Becker

Ten Mile, TN

A member of the 2024 Team Series Championship-winning team, Becker won Bally Bet Angler of the Year in his rookie year on the Bass Pro Tour in 2023, thanks to his victory at Stage Seven on Saginaw Bay. He fished his way into the BPT after five stout years on the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit that included a win at Lake Murray in 2021. Prior to that, Becker earned a win at 1,000 Islands on the Toyota Series (2017), and built a reputation as one of the most versatile and excellent northern anglers to hit the big leagues in recent years. Since 2017, he finished in the top five in points five times across the Toyota Series and Pro Circuit.

FUN FACT
Outside of fishing, Becker likes working out, going to the gym and cooking in general, whether it’s on the grill or smoking meat. “If I wasn’t a fisherman, I’d be a chef. I like it all, I do a good steak, ribs, pulled pork – I like to cook meat,” Becker said.
