One of the top five tournament money-winners of all time – he had over $3.4 million entering the MLF Bass Pro Tour – Northern California native Skeet Reese is one of a small handful of anglers to claim both Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year (2007) and the Bassmaster Classic (2009). Reese won the 2021 Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit Stop 1 on Lake Okeechobee. He went on to celebrate his birthday by winning the 2024 Bass Pro Tour Stage Six event on the James River.

Like 2024, the 2025 MLF Team Series Presented by Bass Pro Shops is comprised of four Cup events, each featuring two-man teams of Bass Pro Tour anglers competing from the same boat and working together to claim part of a season purse of more than half a million dollars.
