Mexico’s beef purchases helping Texas Ranchers

As the beef industry continues to be affected by COVID-19, some Texas ranchers are seeing relief from Mexican markets.

Mexico is a huge trading partner with Texas. Texas ranchers are seeing an increase of 5 percent since from last year in beef exports to Mexico. Tracy Tomascik with the Texas Farm Bureau stated, “Mexico is a very good beef market for Texas and the United States. We are excited to see what lies ahead.”

One reason why Mexico continues to by Texas beef, according to one rancher, is because of the quality.
