Mimicking Wildfires: Forest service is using a simulator to keep firefighters safe

A new “Flame Front Simulator” is allowing the Forest Service to mimic wildfire-type conditions and keep firefighters safe.

The USDA Forest Service currently employs nearly 20,000 individuals who work to care for the nation’s land.
