Missouri Smithfield COVID outbreak was worse than reported

OSHA says that the COVID-19 outbreak at a Missouri Smithfield plant was far worse than officials acknowledged.

The inspection shows at least 77 cases, and more than 300 employees were exposed through May of last year. An earlier report said that there were only 35 cases.

A top Smithfield executive says that the plant reports every positive case and is making sure vaccines are available to each employee.
