Farm organizations in France are protesting government policies on glyphosate and fallow land, demanding clarity and consistency from the Ag Minister.
As a form of protest, they are turning signposts upside down and placing them on piles of manure across France.
Two leaders addressed the issue of glyphosate, stating that France “must clarify its vision of the agricultural future and make its real intentions clear.”
They also expressed frustration over the government’s failure to convince the European Commission on the 4 percent fallow land derogation.
