NASDA on mysterious Chinese seeds

Speculation looms as residents across the country receive suspicious, unsolicited packages of seed appearing to originate from China.

National Association of State Departments of Agriculture’s Max Moncaster speaks with RFD-TV on the speculation of why people are receiving these packages and risks associate with the seeds. “A number of states have had the some of the seeds tested in their labs to understand what’s there. The federal government is also going through their own process to investigate the seeds, USDA is testing those. The Department of Homeland Security is also involved as well, because the seeds were not marked as ‘seeds’ when they were sent to folks; they were marked as other products and so that is definitely fraud,” according to Moncaster.
