National Economic Council’s Larry Kudlow joins Secretary Sonny Perdue on his podcast

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue sits down with the National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow on his podcast to talk about the U.S. economy.

Overall, Kudlow says that he believes the U.S. economy is in a “V” recovery model, with most businesses open in some capacity and unemployment claims going down.

As the U.S. recovers, so do other countries like China, which is building up their purchases of ag goods to meet their Phase One Trade Deal obligations.

He also noted how the United States Mexico Canada Trade Agreement helped the economy through the pandemic as well.

“I think the USMCA deal was good. It’s improved domestic content; it’s helped the autos, manufacturing, farmers, ranchers and we will do more,” Kudlow states.

The also spoke about deregulation and tax breaks for small rural businesses.
