National FFA announces 2023 American Star Award recipients

The National FFA Organization has announced four winners for its 2023 top achievement awards: American Star Farmer, American Star in Agribusiness, American Star in Agricultural Placement, and American Star in Agriscience.

The American Star Awards represent the best of the best among thousands of American FFA Degree recipients.

The recipients are:

Daniel Jossund - Ada-Borup-West FFA Chapter in Minnesota

American Star in Agribusiness
Lainey Hutchison - Crockett County FFA Chapter in Tennessee

American Star in Agricultural Placement
Whitney Glazier - Lomega FFA Chapter in Oklahoma

American Star in Agriscience
George Frees - Cass Career Center FFA, Missouri
