Cattle producers welcome new legislation providing livestock haulers flexibility and relief from hours-of-service rules.
“We have been continuing to ask for this.. so that our producers have that added flexibility at the end of a haul,” the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Allison Rivera said. “If they get to their destination or they’re about 30 minutes away and they need that extra few minutes to get there, this legislation would provide that flexibility to them that they all need very much.”
