NCBA congratulates newly confirmed USDA Under Secretary

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association is showing its support on the recent USDA Under Secretary confirmation.

They released this statement: “The research, education, and economic arm of USDA provide data and analysis that is crucial to cattle producers around the country as they make business decisions, assess economic conditions, and monitor new scientific developments. We look forward to working with Doctor Jacobs-Young and her team.”

Jacobs-Young has served as Administrator of USDA’s chief scientific in-house research agency since 2014 and senior policy analyst for agriculture in the White House Office of Science and Technology Office.
