Nebraska Digital Ag Hub Looks to Advance Farm Technology

The statewide network will bring researchers and producers together to test new technology.

LINCOLN, Neb. (RFD News) — The new Nebraska Digital Ag Hub is bringing researchers, extension specialists and producers together to develop and test digital tools for agriculture.

Guillermo Balboa with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln joined us on Tuesday’s Market Day Report to discuss the statewide network and its work with farmers and ranchers.

In his conversation with RFD News, Balboa said Nebraska is well positioned for the effort because of its diverse agricultural landscape and producers willing to test new technology. The hub will work with producers to determine whether digital tools solve real problems and provide value to their operations.

As the hub enters its first year, Balboa says the team plans to expand partnerships with producers while helping train the next generation of digital agriculture leaders.
