Churchill Downs announced today that there will be no fans in attendance at this year’s Kentucky Derby.

Previously, the track had announced it would allow approximately 23,000 fans to attend this year’s rescheduled race; a noticeable decrease from the record-setting 170,000 in 2015.

The Derby is still scheduled to be run on September 5th. Post times have not yet been announced, but the Kentucky Derby usually goes off between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
