Noble Ranching: A family tradition lasting more than a century

Fourth-generation rancher Ryan Noble and his family based in Yuma, Colorado, operate many cattle ventures focused on increasing quality. He has standards for his herd—minimal inputs, along with docility, longevity, and fertility.

The family’s only source of income is cow money, so keeping the business focused on growth is essential to supporting ranch and family affairs.

Noble says, “When I was a little kid, my grandparents had cows, my parents had cows, my neighbors had cows. If you would’ve asked me when I was six years old, what do you want to be when I grow up, I wanted to be a cow guy. I wanted to be running cows. That’s what I want to do.”

In 2019 the Noble Ranch was named the Certified Angus Beef ® Commercial Commitment to Excellence Award winner.
